Wasabi Guacamole.

Don’t let the title fool you.

This, like Jem & The Holograms, is truly, truly, truly outrageous.

To make sure my taste buds weren’t fooling me, I invited some friends over for Sunday football, and served it along side some wings.

“Whoa. This is different,” one friend said.

True.

But said friend couldn’t stop eating it.

Again, addictive.

Wasabi Guacamole
Makes 2 cups

Ingredients:
3 ripe Hass avocados, pitted and diced
1 lime, juiced
1 Tbsp. wasabi paste
2 tsps. sesame oil
1 large shallot, minced
1 handful cilantro leaves, chopped
1 tsp. rice vinegar
1 Tbsp. ginger, finely diced or grated
salt
white pepper, freshly ground
tortilla chips, for serving

In large serving bowl, mash avocados; mix in lime juice, wasabi paste, sesame oil, shallot, cilantro, rice vinegar, and ginger; season to taste with salt and pepper; serve immediately.

So it's not the most attractive of photos, but whatever.

Attractive, no. Delicious, yes.
