In an effort to save some funds, I made a giant batch of pizza dough using Jim Lahey’s coveted “no-knead” pizza dough recipe.
And to save more funds, I decided to use up a jar of harissa I had in the refrigerator.
And this is what I came up with. Enjoy.
Makes 1 large personal pizza
½ cup harissa
5 ½-inch slices buffalo mozzarella
2 slices prosciutto, torn into pieces
1 ball pizza dough
1. Preheat oven to 400˚ F.
2. Roll out dough to ½-inch thick; spread harissa to edges, leaving ½ inch space for crust; top with mozzarella and prosciutto.
3. Bake 15 minutes; remove and cool 10 minutes; cut into quarters; serve.
