Update: it got warmer.
Yes, this weather is particularly nutty—so much so that I went from being bundled up in a “long” run on Saturday to capris for my speed workout with Nurse Susan.
This weather also makes me long for sunshine and tropical locations. So, His Lordship and I have been frequenting Mexican restaurants and indulging in weekly taco nights. Which also means there are margaritas. Oh, glorious margaritas, you make me wish for continual sunshine, crisp blue seas, and poolside cocktails.
But, it’s only January. Thanks for nothin, margs.
1/2 cup Tequila blanca
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (seriously, take the time to do this)
1 oz. Cointreau (Triple Sec will not do)
habanero salt (if you have any)
Combine tequila, lime juice, and triple sec in a glass; stir until combined. Pour over ice in a glass rimmed with salt/habanero salt mixture. Drink until you can’t feel you face!
